All that we know from movies and education of the eras in which they, Demo and Maria, were born and initially raised into: The Great Depression and WWII, culminate in this photo taken at the end of the war and the new beginning for them and all like them in that era, this mother-to-be here at the point of origin to the next eras of life within which her children would be born and raised: the 50's, 60's, and 70's.
